It has come to our attention that junk faxes are being distributed by a company with a name similar to ours. We regret that you are receiving unwanted faxes.
We too are very disturbed by the faxes as they are NOT originating from our company.
We are trying to track down the sender ourselves as many people like you are understandably upset with a company that seems to share the same name.
We have also contacted the company whose stock is being promoted. They indicate they do not know where this is coming from.
We have spoken to representatives at the FTC and FCC - and here is what you need to do...
Please contact the FCC 1-888-225-5322. They will not take complaints from us as we are not receiving the offending faxes! Press '1' for English, '4' for unwanted calls/faxes, '2' for unwanted faxes and finally '0' to speak to a specialist. Apparently the lowest call volume is between 8 am and 10 am.
OR e-mail them and attach a copy of the fax at fccinfo@fcc.gov.

One last option! One of the individuals who was receiving the faxes works in the Telecommunications industry. They were able to identify that the company sending the faxes using QWEST Telecommunications. You can call QWEST and file a complaint at 800 860 1020 - press 1 and 1 again. I personally spoke to Masa (sp?) (pronounced May-sa). Her extension is 54019. Masa is really trying to help. I have been routed through Security and the Annoyance Call Department too. So if we let her know what's going on - perhaps she can get her company to help!
Tell them your story - particularly frequency and if you still have a fax sample hanging around - send them a copy. Apparently they will only investigate when the volume of complaints is high!
